The HP ProBook 5330m is what we called a good-performing, stylish business notebook with excellent durability in our review. For a very reasonable price, the 5330m is equipped with a second-generation Intel dual-core processor, 4GB of memory at 1333MHz, a spacious 500GB 7200rpm hard drive, and has a backlit keyboard. We found a model on HP's website for $100 less than our review unit; the only differences between the two are the processor and included battery.
In our review of the HP ProBook 5330m, we said it has a build and design similar to the 13-inch MacBook Pro and business features similar to the HP EliteBook line of notebooks. The 13.3-inch 5330m is less than one inch thin and has a brushed aluminum chassis to add to its overall durability. Up until the release of this notebook, the ProBooks had inferior durability due to their price when compared to the EliteBook lineup, but the 5330m doesn't compromise. It also has a backlit Chiclet-style keyboard with textured keys. The sale unit comes equipped with an Intel Core i3-2310M dual-core processor at 2.1GHz, Intel HD graphics, and 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 memory. Even though that's a different processor than the one in our review unit, the sale system would have similar benchmark results as our review unit. We said our review unit performed as good or better in most of its tests as the Lenovo ThinkPad X1, another 13-inch business notebook.
